Learn how to Bluetooth pair your inReach communicator with the EVERYWHERE App
inReach + App Bluetooth Setup
inReach Mini 2 – iOS
There are two ways to pair your Mini 2 and EVERYWHERE App, we will walk you through both. The first is prompted by Configure Device dialog in the EVERYWHERE App (Option 1), and the second is through the Settings page of the EVERYWHERE App (Option 2).
We all know that it's important to follow directions. In the case of connecting your Garmin inReach Mini 2 with the EVERYWHERE App, it's important to follow THESE directions to ensure the proper pairing of these devices. Becasue the Mini 2 can only be paired to one mobile app at a time, it is imperative that you DO NOT INSTALL THE GARMIN MESSENGER APP or you will not be able to use the EVERYWHERE App and platform.
On the inReach Mini 2
1. Select OK - Settings - Pair with phone? - Pair now
2. A message displays on inReach: To get started, download the Garmin Messenger app
Ignore this message and DO NOT download the Garmin Messenger app.
3. Continue with the directions below
Option 1: Pair from Configure Device dialog
When you open your EVERYWHERE App for the first time, you will be prompted with important permissions settings along with a Configure Device dialog. Follow the steps below and watch the tutorial video.
When propted, "Would like to pair your INREACHMINI2?"
1. Select Yes
2. Taken to Bluetooth Pairing screen
3. inReach Mini 2 displays "Disonnected"
4. Tap on Disconnected
5. Code displays on Mini 2
6. Enter the code in the Pair with inReach Mini 2 dialog that displays in the Everywhere app and select Pair
8. Mini 2 is now paired with the EVERYWHWRE App
*A message will display on inReach: To get started, download the Garmin Messenger app

Option 2: Pair from Bluetooth Pairing and Status
If you dismissed the previous dialog by hitting "No" in Option 1, you can still pair your communicator through the Settings page of the EVERYWHERE App. Follow the steps below and watch the tutorial video >>
1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth Pairing and Status
2. Taken to Bluetooth Pairing screen
3. inReach Mini2 displays “Disconnected”
4. Tap on Disconnected
5. Code displays on Mini 2
6. Enter the code in the Bluetooth Pairing Request dialog that displays in the Everywhere app and select Pair
7. inReach Mini 2 is now paired with the EVERYWHERE App
