About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing SaaS finance team. You’ll take ownership of core accounting functions — from month-end close and revenue recognition to accounts payable, expense management, payroll, and external accountant coordination. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, streamlining processes, and driving scalable systems as we continue to grow. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative, and tech-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable (AP), vendor payments, and employee expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with biweekly payroll, partnering with HR and external providers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with external accountants and internal team on tax filings, compliance reporting, and annual reviews.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS subscriptions, renewals, and contract changes.
• Support financial reporting and analysis and provide insights to leadership and senior team.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in accounting systems and workflows

What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, and subscription-based revenue models.
• Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Sage, or NetSuite) and billing and/or ERP systems (e.g., BluLogix, HubSpot).
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and a love for process improvement.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
• Equity participation.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible PTO and hybrid work options.
• Professional development and CPA support.
• A collaborative, mission-driven team shaping the future of SaaS finance.
