EVERYWHERE SOS Events Are Different
EVERYWHERE SOS events are different. Everywhere SOS is purpose built for the Enterprise and Civilian Government markets that require customer defined SOS alerts and tailored responses with two-way communication. A consumer SOS event is typically a single message with location data sent to emergency responders.
Let's explore

SOS Insights
EVERYWHERE Team SOS
EVERYWHERE Team SOS alerts your predefined network of responders – local teammates, security personnel, and headquarters – over multiple communication channels enabling a swift, coordinated response. Individual consumer SOS alerts are very infrequent, one distress message that may be triggered every few years. An Everywhere SOS event can involve hundreds of messages over many hours in austere environments where our 30-day battery life is critically important.
Our seamless integration of satellite, cellular and Wi-Fi communication empowers your field teams with instant SOS alerts. EVERYWHERE Team SOS provides mission critical global SOS to keep your people connected, informed, and protected.
SOS by Industry
EVERYWHERE customers are dispersed throughout a variety of industry sectors. What these sectors have in common is the responsibility to provide duty-of-care to their most important asset, their people, in challenging and remote locations.
SOS Events Were Global
Where in the World?
Our customers span the globe, including the most challenging parts of the world, highlighting the need for pole-to-pole communication coverage. The concentration of SOS events in North America and Africa align with mining, conservation and humanitarian aid organizations – sectors where teams routinely operate outside cellular coverage and depend on satellite communications to trigger and coordinate emergency response.

SOS Case Study
Emergency Communications and Field Support Coordination for Forestry Operations
A forester working for a large international forestry company was badly injured while working alone in a remote area of Canada with no cell service. The forester was more than 100 miles into the wilderness, scouting land for future tree planting, when their ATV rolled over and pinned their leg against a fallen tree.
Alone and unable to move, the situation quickly became life-threatening.The forester pressed the SOS button on their Garmin inReach device. The alert was sent through the EVERYWHERE platform to the International Emergency Response Coordination Center, their employer, and teammates in the field.
Rescue efforts began right away. Paramedics were sent by private helicopter, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police started a search and rescue mission.Using EVERYWHERE’s Multi-Channel SOS, the team coordinated the response while rescuers received the forester’s exact GPS location. This helped them find the injured forester quickly and complete a successful rescue.
SOS Case Study
Conservation organization protecting a national park in remote, high-risk terrain
A ranger followed their training during a worst-case situation and pressed the SOS button on their Garmin inReach satellite communicator. From that moment, the EVERYWHERE–EarthRanger system helped manage the emergency response.
The SOS alert was received and marked as a critical incident. It immediately notified the Hub administrator and other key team members. The Hub administrator joined the situation and started two-way satellite messaging with the ranger in the field.Using the system, the Hub administrator could see patrol locations and movement in real time.
Within minutes, what started as a scattered and dangerous situation became a coordinated response managed through the EVERYWHERE Hub.

The Outcome
Remote teams operate where communication infrastructure often doesn’t exist. See how teams, emergency responders, and the EVERYWHERE Platform work together to bring clarity to SOS events and empower every response.
