Product Marketer

Location - Annapolis Office Monday-Thursday/Friday WFH

Job Summary


EVERYWHERE’s Product Marketer develops and executes marketing strategies to promote the company’s products, services and mission, including defining the product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, conducting market research, creating compelling content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition and sales, essentially "telling the story" of the product to the target audience and ensuring its value proposition is clearly communicated.

ESSENTIAL OUTCOMES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Go-to-market strategy:
• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches and existing product enhancements.
• Define target audiences, identify key messaging and positioning, and develop compelling value propositions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, engineering) to ensure successful product launches.
• Develop and manage product marketing budget to execute marketing vision at scale.

2. Product messaging and positioning:
• Develop and maintain clear and consistent product messaging and project timelines.
• Craft compelling product narratives and positioning statements that succinctly explain how our products and services help solve customer problems.
• Create high-quality marketing collateral, including website copy, case studies, white papers, presentations, and demos.

3. Market research and analysis:
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
• Analyze market data to identify opportunities for product improvement and growth.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze campaign performance to optimize marketing efforts.

4. Sales support:
• Develop and deliver sales training and presentation materials to equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively sell our products.
• Support sales efforts through customer presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales enablement activities.
• Lead generation facilitation and continuous improvement

5. Customer Engagement:
• Build relationships with customers and prospects to better understand customer needs and challenges.
• Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Support industry events and conferences.

6. Leadership/Vendor management:
• Leads and develops internal marketing team member.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in product marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
• A solid track record of Product, Vertical or Solution Marketing experience, ideally with a SaaS solution provider.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
• Experienced in SEO, SEM, social media marketing metrics.
• Able to deliver and drive relevant KPIs using available resources.
