The solution would need to incorporate check-in capabilities to fully comply with mandated Duty of Care legislation recently passed in Canada.

Automated Scheduled Check-ins allow administrators to set automatic recurring check-ins that are tailored to specific teams or work site schedules. For example, a group of loggers are scheduled to be at a remote job site Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. An administrator can now schedule both days of the week and the time of the day that multiple check-ins could occur on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, while leveraging EVERYWHERE multi-channel notifications complete with time-stamped location information.
Remote Check-ins provide remote personnel with increased check-in flexibility. Deployed personnel can now set up their individualized check-in schedule remotely. The solution uses Garmin inReach• for Iridium• satellite communications with EVERYWHERE Always Connected™ software. If an unexpected situation occurs while outside cellular coverage, remote personnel can initiate their check-in schedule and feel confident that any missed check-in or report of “Not Safe” will immediately trigger an EVERYWHERE hub alert, as well as multi-channel notifications.

EVERYWHERE not only developed this customer-driven innovation to automate duty of care for their lumber industry client, but they also ensured a seamless transition to the EVERYWHERE platform.
